For what itâs worth, one article I read mentioned the pilot was a woman. In âwokeâ Canada, thatâs the last weâll probably hear on that detail unless she can be made into a hero.
When viewing that clip without the sound, the body language and expression in the eyes of some of the people seem curious â some look like theyâre smirking⌠As if thereâs some acting/mockery going on.
And, indeed, the Endeavor Air web site lists DEI in its mission statement.
Ironically, a parent in Ontario recently gave a speech at a city council meeting, where he said: âWould you want your doctor or airline pilot to be a diversity hire, just to meet some arbitrary quota based on some identity characteristic? Someone where you put your life in their hands? Or would you want them to be hired based on their qualifications, performance, knowledge, and skills? That is, their merit!â
An article in Druthers (a non-mainstream Canadian opinion paper) recently celebrated an âend to woke ideologyâ in the American-owned Walmart, and it is great news that the new American President seems to support a move away from the woke agenda. I hope that Canada follows this lead.
Hmm pretty quick with the cheque book.
That makes me wonder if anyone has seen the actual footage of the âlandingâ? The comment about smirking passengers caused me pauseâŚ
It wasnât the passengers who were smirking â it was a group of people (actors?) in the link that Patriceoneal shared (original post), which seemed to be a promo commercial about the airline staff of that airline companyâŚ
It would be interesting to look at footage of the landing, given the snowfall in the region. (Our friend who was scheduled to perform with a symphony in Michigan had his concert cancelled the day before due to snow storm.)
As others have been sharing (also in another thread on the topic), I too have been wondering about the coincidental increase in frequency of plane crashes recently â the DEI thing seems to crop up now and then, also in fire disasters â (and perhaps that may even be a mask for something else going on)
As long as you sign hereâŚdonât sue usâŚcheaper than financing a battery of lawyers to fight lawsuits, not to mention the bad press and brand damage as they are filed. Good business moveâŚ
DEI?
Uh, a pilot needs a buzzer to say their approach is too fast? Shouldnât that be a bit of knowledge they should know about the plane prior to qualifying to fly that model?
I wonder if itâs just an Idiocracy thing and the erosion of critical thinking and love of knowledge have led to all the critical professions being understaffed with truly qualified people due to the fact that the whole available pool is of lower quality, not necessarily entirely DEIâs fault.
Indeed, yes, chris â we do wonder about experience levels as a result of some of the staffing shortages that occurred after the covid injection program mandates (highly experienced professional pilots were fired across Canada when they refused to be injected) â weâre also seeing understaffing everywhere, across the gamut of professional and trades and retail sectors. And yes, not necessarily due to DEI (which, I wouldnât even rule out if that may be a smoke and mirrors campaign to deliberately keep people people wasting intellectual energy with all that nonsense, and then not probing deeper issues).
The Taking Off Team recently gave a commentary on the preliminary report of the Delta plane crash in Toronto. We didnât understand some of the technical commentary, but it seems as if one of the issues being explored may be pilot experience.
On top of staff shortages due to professionals being fired for refusing to comply with injections, questions were also raised by a Canadian doctor who has been keeping track of pilots getting sick after taking injections.
One chief captain pilot, who was suspended for refusing an injection, gave his perspective about the effects of the covid mandates on airline staffing to the Canadian Citizens Inquiry about what happened when injection mandates started. He expressed concern about airline safety.
Weâre concerned not only with the pilot professionals, but also staff shortages with the mechanics and professionals who service the airplanes to keep them in top running order. Are the same issues plaguing that sector as well?
@sunnyboy
Weed out the knowledgeable ones, then eventually fill them with immigrantsâŚin the meantime, if we run short of professionals (in any industry) then we can do without or pay more. Thin out the European/descendants herd via eugenics and start prepping a slave class. 2 birds, one stone.
⌠youâre correct Chris ⌠the decline of general human intelligence is also a problem.
What do you expect when people donât exercise their brains.
Reading a book is like training a mental muscle for memory, word recognition, imagination, learning new words or phrases, critical thinking, problem solving.
Instead of all that in a nice little package, you have diminishing returns and attention spans with 30 second video shorts on the pocket computer, about nonsense.
Then when I see a historical or âeducationalâ video short, I have to tell them they are using words wrongâŚin their own (English) language.
Yes thereâs a lot said about a healthy lifestyle that promotes nutrition, restful sleep and exercise, hardly any mention about mental health, except perhaps to reduce stress which ironically is the result of not knowing or fearing something, which could probably be addressed with a little bit of knowledge gained from reading.
I was just emailing with an internet friend and he is terrified his Brazilian wife will get deported under Trump, even though she is a citizen. He is a model citizen in regards to being programmed into emotional mode by the ânewsâ and Orange Man Bad on over drive. I was telling him she will be just fine.
I told him its not wishful thinking, itâs having a harmonious inner life, and CONFIDENCE. Perception creates reality.
Youâre saying perhaps it was a Vaxxident?
Thatâs a good way of putting it!
Personally, I donât know â there are an awful lot of planes going down and pilots getting sick all over the world, for various reasons â but listening to the pilot captain who was interviewed by the NCI (link in my previous post) and Dr. Makis, who has been keeping track of pilots who have been sick after the injections, I wouldnât rule out that possibility.
I find it curious that the Taking Off Team mentioned that the flight recorder recording was not available for the preliminary report. Why wouldnât it be?
Sounds like youâre more than fed up with the whole weird programâŚ
