In germany the military is desolate right now. Two years ago the then chancelor Olaf Scholz tried to polish it up a bit, but they are lacking manpower and also equipment. Without NATO holding their little hand they are basically not able to defend themselves or their people. Now chancelor to be Mr. Merz (the ex-blackrock manager) wants to come back to general conscription. We had that for 55 years, in 2011 they cancelled it. I don`t see the german public to be happy about it, so they will do it step by step, nothing is set in stone right now (so they claim).I guess it will come quick, as many other things that were not on the agenda before Merz got selected (he certainly was not elected by the people)

I think the whole point is that we are heading to a place where war is not tolerated so huge armies are unnecessary. A treaty with NATO would have been through the corporation USA and that is now officially circular filed.
Somebody forgot to turn off the Soviet counter intel program so so many years ago.

The problem is that Europe was already primed for that by a history of being lorded over and told what to do by the royalty/experts. That is my opinion from over here. Very few people, except the fringe people, would ever think that a person is more qualified based on the vagina they fell out of. Nor the penis that started their human journey.
Not saying that nepotism does not exist here, it does. However the admiration of “royalty” does not exist except in the minds of romantic school girls.
I think however if Socialism (capital S) keeps being pushed by the system here, I do think the US could go “Roman” and end up with a dictatorship. Not sure how that would pan out, but that is a fear that I have.
Honestly NATO will be dead without the US and I don’t see Trump approving any military incursion directly in the Ukraine. Germany and the UK don’t have the numbers or the hardware to sustain a direct fight with Russia. UK PM Starmer is talking hot wind - he’s too busy having single mothers arrested for badly worded tweets to focus on a big bear like Russia. People like him punch down because they’re bullies. And Germany are reliving the 1920’s and 30’s by crushing any opposition. Macron is doing whatever he does.

This discussion is pointless since the speakers have NO IDEA what the Russians want. Here it is in a nutshell, there are 5 provinces in the west and southern regions of the Ukraine where the population’s first language is Russian. These regions were once a part of Russia but in the aftermath of WW1 and WW2 things went ‘haywire’.
If you want to learn about the Russian’s plans go to the RT website and drill down and go back in time. Go back several decades. Then you will learn that the neo-Nazis ideals are still alive.

I used to listen to The Dreizin Report 3 yrs ago when the war began. He would explain so much about the true causes of the war, but I see he has almost been “unpersoned” by the Internet.
