The Essential is Missing. I have two or three (or four) concerns I want to explore in this posting. One is about the idea of ‘plot’ or conspiracy, that I see expressed everywhere and from all sides. The second is the role of culture, or really, the loss of culture. The loss of an avant-garde. And third is the idea of obedience to authority. And how the belief in organization has been so enshrined in the West. I have written on all this before, but perhaps not in a way that tries to connect them.
