Actually, if AI was used as a tool for warnings about tower error, not the only source of information, it would be a help. I see too many control tower mistakes that result in either near misses or downright ugly results.
Makes sense to interface a plane’s computer system with the tower’s computer. Here comes huge contracts to standardize airport and airplane computers. Lots of “opportunities” for malfeasance and oops got that wrong…glad I refuse airport abuse and no longer travel by airplanes.

this could be deliberate tweaking for more easier motivation and integration of such centralized a.i. navi’gate’on system!
surely, without machines, going by lowtech radar navigation as in '50s probably many problems will arose in high density air’trafic that is serviced by one regional air’port, coz not only congestion but also the wind rose is issue, what about fuel scarcity for hanging in circles till clear landing path opens, still that dont means centralized a.i. boost is solution, simply it has various risks, coz if by any means anyhow such a.i. is hijacked by “someone” lets say mids some ww3 circumstances eg. can choke the air’trafic on every port!
now, lets reverse engineer this last assumption, palantir as I am aware is one of the top tier american military contractors, what suggests this wide a.i. integration goes for such ww3 scenario, where all civil ariports should be easily aligned later with those of usaf!, again a.i. hijack risks exists, but probably palantir claim has instant risk management!, and this throws us in the infamous Lets See category of What If subcategories around whatever invivo risk mitigation, coz by default all those systems function on simulation models that goes under particle physics knowhow, while even aeter field knowhow to be employed coz the same is not at all secured by long and wide exerimenting, simply as I see the subcategory that will need to be tackled day after how abakus to revive that dead pool of airports … maybe I am wrong Lets See … maybe ufos will be next transport mode thus this would be expected upgrade of the grid
