…Here we go… yup, at the moment they do that, ALL their sacraments are invalid, and the pressure will be on the Eastern churches (Orthodox, Uniate, Coptic, Armenian) to “conform” or else… another reason I am very wary of “canonical” Orthodoxy

Pope Leo’s August 18 appointments to the dicastery include Peter G. Kirchschlager, a social ethicist at the University of Lucerne, Switzerland, who has said the Church has an unresolved problem regarding the impossibility of women’s ordination to the priesthood.

I’m not surprised. The only thing I’m surprised about is that it took so long. When the “Episcopal” church voted in 1976 General convention to allow women’s 'ordination," we traditionalists knew that the pressure would be put on Rome to do so. It’s taken a while, but it’s coming, unfortunately.
