isn’t the “backdrop” of “The White House” already a “cave wall” (see Plato’s The Republic, Book VII). If it is true that a special separate White House Set has been created (nice question to be asked of Ms. Psaki yes?) doesn’t this become a cave within a cave? An argument could be made that this provides a slippery slope towards the creation of an infinite regress of interpretations of caves. Genius! What better way to produce mass cognitive dissonance, cognitive distortions, and dissociative disorders. There are many versions of “The Tower of Babel Moment”. There are actions one can take to counter the current cognitive onslaught on mind. See the work of Aaron Beck and David Burns … Burns’ list of Cognitive Disorders can be found in his Feeling Good Handbook, 1989. Positive Psychology literature can be helpful. Within any body of literature there is good and bad and this is true here as well, be discerning. A place to start on-line positivepsychology.com
