Not sure I agree with all of this but most. Opinions?
The term slave comes from the Slavs and I read that in ancient times they were once part of the Celtic empire with the Phoenicians and even the Vikings selling them off as slaves mostly in Africa to Arabs where whites commanded the highest price. In Michael Hoffman III’s “They Were White and They Were Slaves,” the claim is made that during the American Civil War, when there were 200,000 black slaves in the USA, there were 2 million white slaves in Africa, mostly under Arab rule. Also, it should be mentioned that what a slave was has changed over time, especially concerning one’s ability to work off their servitude. The ancient Egyptians kept slaves for 3 years, if I remember correctly, but the slavers of European and American ships who sold to the colonies of America, were exceptionally cruel, packing as many as they could into their cargoes. It has been shown that these ships were indeed owned mostly by those of wealthy British and Dutch Jewish extraction. This business of slavery was the most profitable and the intention was to make it multi generational using methods of mind control and a special religion in the process of wiping out their cultural identity and history. Ancient times saw slavery as a bragging rite, as in the case of King David and Muhammad.
At one time, it was the Kiev Rus that defeated the Kazarian Empire and might have had something to do with stopping the invasion of Europe by Mongols or the Ottomans. The later got as far as Transylvania where Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) is still considered a national hero. History gets hidden.
They are a beautiful people rich in culture and history.

Slavery has been ongoing since the beginning of written human history and I suspect before anything written and that history which has been hidden from us.
As for North America, it is well know that virtually all the Native American tribes took slaves from other tribes they conquered, or, in trade.
The history of slavery is on every continent among almost all peoples. This current go-round will be no different.
