The Impossibility of Christian Transhumanism

“First principles matter, and those of transhumanism and Christianity could not be more contradictory.” We are seen as ‘consumers’ with pocketbooks not ‘humans’ with souls. Maybe Zoltan Istvan and U.S. Transhumanist Party will be on the ballot in the next election.

Huston Smith had lots to say about how religion was sabotaged years ago. Yes. Physics and religion belong together.

Yes, Margaret. … It all depends on where you start your cosmology. I concur with Karl Barth insofar as it is atheism – not God – which truly does not exist. Transhumanism, for me, is a techno-sorcery disguising its idolatries behind a cold, false mask of stochastic science.

Very insightful article – much to ponder here.

… Who knew this was a thing?

Agree they are antithetical and not sure, even as a tortuous tautological thought experiment, how it could ever conceivably be made to work. Transhumanism is essentially anti Natural Law and an derogation from creation and the Creator.

This I would have to agree with, as my co-author and I tried to point out in our transhumanism book the agenda is a literal re-ascent up the ladder of the “four Adams” animal man, vegetable man, mineral man, androgynous man. We’re watching all of them come to pass now.

An interesting comparison and contrasting of Yuval Noah Hariri role and a "false prophet during the end times.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvlqmo30eTs&list=PLcNvkL1ZfiUm0E3xMJW2LqcodjUu3_nNl&index=181

…and where one starts his cosmology…hmm?..and what does that have to do with the Lord God?

…they are more like tehno-mages,not tehno-sorceres…just saying…

Yes principia matters…principia prima materia matters…however …the imaterial…well…

[I am dreaming that I am awakening]

Although I have been following what you say in interviews, posts and blogs for many years, this things remains unclear to me Dr. JPF.

  1. What is the exact order of the species( or kinds of man with descriptive adjective that you use here) of man that you mention here…?
  2. Is this order a description of the fall of man into the original sin of the first man Adam or whoever he is, and whatever his name is, from which Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son of God does deliver us…even now…as we speak…
  3. How are transhumanism and the topological metaphor that you advocate related?

You need to read the book.
