The Land Before Time—PART 32: Nahuals and Cattle Mutilations
When we read about the wheels Ezekiel saw, at first glance it would seem he was describing a mechanical craft of some sort. The truth is, however, far stranger. The word “wheels” used in the passage from the book of Ezekiel was translated from the Hebrew word owphan, which is where we get the plural ophanim. There are ancient texts that actually refer to the ophanim as a specific class of angel. In the book of Enoch can be found one of these references: “And He will summon all the host of the heavens, and all the holy ones above, and the host of God, the Cherubic, Seraphin and Ophannin, and all the angels of power, and all the angels of principalities, and the Elect One, and the other powers on the earth (and) over the water…”
