Planned economic crash–I’m with you on that one. UBI because people won’t be able to afford food in the future–ditto. Whether the New York City mayor is a setup for that, I don’t know. I always thought it would be a nationwide or worldwide economic depression that brought in UBI, but your comment makes me think they might start with a few big cities and go from there.

Elon Musk said the advent of AI brings with it communism, as the earnings of AI will have to be redistributed to the population in order that people have the money to sustaoin their lives by purchasing the products of AI produced goods and services.
A purposed social revolution brought on by technologies; designed and crafted, for this very purpose!
Populations engineered to be unaware; unable to discuss necessary measures to this engineered massive challenge to human society.
