So, so much to be understood here. Can anyone sum this up, by any chance?

Thanks for this!

I’m going to re-listen to this to try to pick up the main vocab and structure of the discussion. I’m not sure I’ll be able to tackle the book, but it’s good to know what the source is. :+1:

Great article!

Looking at the Kondratieff wave chart at the bottom, it looks like the current cycle should have bottomed out in 2005, although he suggests 2020, presumably because of the measures that have been taken to prolongue the cycle. My quesiton would be, how elongated is the cycle, now that we’re a decade beyond the article itself? Mainly to try to get a feel for when things are likely to look up…

The article maybe couldnt predict all the tools and money magic tricks the banks have to give the illusion of that everything is fine.

Things like C19 and now Ukraine has given them some breathing room to print like crazy to hold off the crash for a few moments.
Also i beleive crypto has been used to get around some barriers and get money in the right hands (Bribes etc)

But im certain we have passed the point of no return and that in some capacity the system has already been switched behind closed doors.
Most likely it will be the west taking the hit since its is that has been clinging on to the illusion of wealth some of think they have built up over the years.

People who have saved assets outside of the digital systems will probably be alot better off.
