The Reality Is That An Entire New Lexicon Is Required In Order To: Understand The New Totaltarianism Being Built TODAY!

Many thanks for sharing this book review – I have a HEAP of books I’m reading (like yourself!), along with an ever-expanding reading list, and can’t possibly read all the thousands of books I want to read – and so I really appreciate book reviews. I think Hughes did a good job of summarizing key points of this book, and this is the kind of book review that I appreciate when deciding whether a book gets on my list or not.

I particularly appreciated this line near the bottom of the book review:

The book ends on a note of optimism. Peaceful non-compliance with the oligarchs’ “demented edicts” and “insane schemes” opens the door to building “something truly better.”

Good!
I’m not the Lone Ranger!
I’ve got books, books, and more books!
Some partially read; almost finishe; but most, completely unread.
AND, I even bought some more!
Turns out, as the “Radiation” of Information increases exponentially; purposely transforming “their” consumption, into a form of cognitive sicknessl I find myself trying to separate the narrative realities from each other. So now I’m framing most everything in “TECHNOCRACY” frames.
In my mind’s eye; that’s the GAME Afoot.

That done; its back to turning real pages; and NOT going, from link to link.

I’m going to order the book, when it’s ready to ship.
The only books I pre-order, are Dr. Farrell’s.

… Peaceful non-compliance is a euphemism for sheep being gently herded to their slaughter. What will be “truly better built” will be better and more efficient abattoirs.

Only if they can get compliant “sheep” to build and run the abattoirs…

… isn’t that what “compliance” entails?

All change, on a largescale, starts by creating language for it, it is NLP thing that persuades, creates and allows space for the change to take place.

… consciousness (and Worldview) in fact may emerge (be an epiphenomenon) out of /from language. If so that would make the initiation, control and use of language extremely important.

Exactly.

And “peaceful non-compliance” entails just the opposite: a hard-nosed REFUSAL to participate in constructing or managing operations that are antithetical to the kind of world we want.

One example: refusing to do business with businesses that don’t want to take cash. Refusal to construct and work for an abattoire, and more importantly - refusal to participate in operations that herd others into an abattoire (WWII comes to mind here – very starkly). Refusal to work for an outfit that tries to force its staff to inject others with a controversial product. Refusal to participate in race-based hatred campaigns that are being fomented worldwide to turn groups of human beings against one another. Refusal to let go one’s values when other values are being imposed by a hidden ruling entity.

And, I would say “peaceful non-compliance” entails even more than simple Refusal to Participate. It also involves ongoing internal endeavour to try and recognize and come to terms with all the lies we’re being fed about anything coming out of our institutions, and to admit to ourselves when we’ve been snagged by repeating a lie, and then humbly change course. (Some years ago, I used to believe the climate change narratives when they first made their entrance into public consciousness. Snagged up like many people, because I had had trust in our institutions.)
