Well it looks like Russia and China, while not fighting as far as we know, are providing electronic and satellite intelligence, as well air defences and missiles now. So just like the US, NATO did with The Ukraine. In essence, although not declared it now spans the globe, although fighting is constrained for now in the Middle East / West Asia region.
