Then activate Article 42-7 of the Treaty, the “mutual defense clause,” which, she specifies, “is not optional but MANDATORY”: if one country is at war, all the others must be too!
Then finalize this process of going to war against Russia by shifting foreign policy “from unanimity to qualified majority”! The veto is over!
And in conclusion, she warns: “We don’t need to amend the Treaty for this” (when in fact we do, but she knows it wouldn’t pass, so the EU will force it through!)
