The spider web or matrix if you will has many legs and threads that make sense when looking from afar. Dividing the world into two areas and working from that outline model, I and II, followed by I-A, I-B etc. allows construction of various narratives just as when making an outline for any story or essay to a final summation of what the writer wrote.
