Same that happened in Canada will happen in D.C. Thought I’d already read that Biden signed Emergency Act ahead of time; can’t confirm. What a horrible shame! Why can’t they see it?! (Notice you’re not seeing much about Canadian truckers the last 24 hrs. or so.)
Except that the woman, Tamara Lich, who was one of the organizers in Ottawa has ALLEGEDLY committed suicide in jail. She WAS rather emotional during many of the presentations they made, but I don’t see her giving up despite a threat of 10 year sentence. It is definitely a hit in the gut that she is gone.
We could have a “Tamara Lich” here in US also. Will have to see who emerges as leadership. I really wish truckers wouldn’t do this, as it gives Biden too much legal power to use against first, the truckers, then, spread to the rest of the population; just as is happening in Canada.
