… We are truly doomed … What happened to actually vetting someone for a position?
I’m not sure what we do now … it is obvious that we no longer live in either a shame or guilt based society?

Um fatigue? May not register on your radar, but I can promise you that it does on my children’s. Ask the right male from say 14 to 30 and you will understand what is really going on.

… No, not fatigue … as Geza Vermes replied when asked to comment on the academic (and other) shenanigans of one John Strugnell, who had a long history of intentionally causing considerable delay on the release of The Dead Sea Scroll manuscripts … after recounting the quite long and sad history of Scroll translation production, specifically mentioning the (huge) difference between the number of volumes projected to have been produced by the time Vermes was asked to comment, and the number that had actually been produced. Vermes ended his response (without mentioning Strugnell by name) by simply saying “These are the facts.”

Another idea for GDS merch t-shirt “End the Fatigue!”

instead of being “fatigued” … What do you propose to be done?
