Who in the Nazi party chose it and was an explanation given? Gotta look at that when I get a chance.
Rumour has it that it was Hermann Göring that saw it on a family crest while staying at a Swedish Estate where he met his first wife Carin von Kantzow… mind you, it’s still used by the Finnish Air Force Academy…

I haven’t assimilated it…I just, like a magpie,- found it shiny and interesting… There’s probably something to it, some depth maybe…but who knows eh?.. It’s from this
