They are poisoning our sky! Mysterious rainbow rings are appearing in the sky

Any relation to rainbow rings around the sun or moon? Or, “sundogs”, assuming these aren’t altered?

From 2015 to 2017 and periodically since then, it was an unusual day when there weren’t sun or moon dogs and rainbow clouds small or large, in the areas I happened to be. Maybe they were ‘dogging’ me. :rofl:

There could be any number of explanations, mostly all in the unusual category.

The one in China is certainly the biggest, most colorful and well, weirdest, imo.

My favorite sky show was the first time of the 3 occasions I saw the northern lights…unbelievable!

I have only seen a hint of the Northern Lights when I was in Washington state. Glad you did get to have the experience, neighbor to the North!

any link to all the double rainbows we have been seeing for several years now? when i was small there were hardly ever any doubles, then from about 2010 ish onwards hardly ever any singles :thinking:
