Sounds like a ploy to drive down property values. I wonder who’s waiting around to snap up huge chunks of real estate on the cheap . . . then eventually rent it back to those who moved out, when they’re bankrupt and dependent on UBI in the future. Yep, I’d say 15-minute cities are lurking in the background.
