This is very unexpected given the case was processed in a Northern Ireland (UK) court and appeal was upheld by UK Supreme Court, that Christian Religious Education and / or Collective Worship within any NI school is a breach of Human Rights

Had expected this might happen somewhere but NI would have been very low down the list of such places for me. Watching to see how this precedent pans out in other jurisdictions. Christian RE in schools breaches human rights, court rules | Impartial Reporter

As mentioned in last night’s vidchat submission, is it now time to up the engagement and language used to rebut and push back politically to defend western values and civilisation. I don’t believe this is just an Islamic re-colonisation but Islam is the lead horse in a team driving the undermining of the West. I believe, that, together with others of different and no faith, the eventual outcome is a state of anomie characterised by nihilism, amorality, and no or very temporal/temporary values. All this to create a highly manipulable and controlled population. Islam will be replaced in time in the same way Christianity is experiencing right now. So this is where the rebuttal and challenge needs to be directed.

The synchronicity surrounding the above decision by the UK Supreme Court coincide with two events

  1. Red Wednesday, highlighting persecution (I would argue genocide) of Christians, Red Wednesday: A global stand for persecuted Christians will see 600 churches lit up in red - Catholic Review
  2. . Iona Institute widescale survey in Northern Ireland published in Northern Ireland aimed at examining attitudes to Christianity in Northern Ireland itself https://ionainstitute.ie/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Religion-and-Spirituality-in-Northern-Ireland.pdf

Interesting to note also the terms of the European Convention on Human Rights articles which cover right to express, to offend or shock in free speech and the right to worship openly, and protected within the workplace , say like a school.
