Good fodder to stress taking children away from parents and having the state raise them in a “special” environment.

I think you have raised the obvious point here, Bill. While you can charge the parents (and they will find out who allowed access to a firearm let alone not supervise the child enough to know he took it to school (!), they have been wanting to take children. It is all going to get a lot more chaotic before there is common sense back in the communities.
You let BLM burn cities, child trafficking to continue unabated, illegal immigrants to flood the border and when a 6 yo shoots his teacher we are all to get concerned? Not me, amigo.
