A German occultist secret society active during the early 20th century, especially in the years leading up to the rise of the Nazi Party. Its aims combined racial mysticism, esoteric occult beliefs, and far-right politics.
Thule was politically active and wanted to overthrow Weimar democracy and replace it with a fascist regime.
They helped found the German Workers’ Party (DAP) in 1919, which was soon taken over and renamed by Adolf Hitler as the NSDAP (Nazi Party).
