And very well deserved…as with the rest of your work Dr Farrell, it is not only incisive, educational, containing criticality, but has that key virtue of excellent work in its longevity of relevance.

Agree. A PhD does not always mean “piled higher and deeper”. Some folks know what to do with one.

… … … it would be interesting to know how this particular book ends up on Holt’s bedside table and even more what prompted him to write a review and post it publicly. Let us ruminate a bit on the possibilities.

  1. Gee, I accidentally ran into this title at a bookstore and thought it looked interesting.
  2. Feral House touts itself as a vendor of “High-quality books on forbidden topics.”. Doesn’t really seem like a publishing house whose catalogs were occasionally browsed by someone such as Holt.
  3. Is there evidence that Holt has had an independent (meaning not an assigned) interest (either
long or short term) in “forbidden topics”?
  4. In academia (if the author(s)/editors(s) is/are alive) it is often (but not always the case) that when one is going to review a book or paper that the reviewer (often but not always) contacts the author and or publisher that one is preparing a review and offers to send a preprint copy to them. Again, this is not always the case. Curious as to whether either occurred in this case.
  5. Dangerous Intellectuals? Is this a reference to Holt? … to Dr. Farrell? If Dr. Farrell, why would Holt place Dr. Farrell in such a category?
  6. Is Holt placing Dr. Farrell in such a category to be considered a compliment? … or is Holt doing a service in providing, under the guise of a “simple book review” a “briefing” or a public heads-up warning about Dr. Farrell’s works to others?

… please join in and continue the rumination. Maybe it is just me, but given his “biography” (see below) something seems like I’m walking around with a slice of bologna in each shoe. … see Steve Martin on the bologna business. In my experience members or associates of the CFR in general have never struck me as “helpful educators”.

… and why does Holt bring to the “general publics” attention, in this case, long after the fact of the now entrenched beyond repair or removal in situ consequences of what Dr. Farrell describes? Holt states that we “can still change the game”. Will (has) Holt go(ne) on to offer ideas about how to bring change and remove the consequences of the actions of such “Vipers”? Holt’s background leaves one with the idea that in essence he worked for, benefitted from, and may in fact still be employed by and be benefiting from the “Vipers” in a capacity such as this? Is it clear from the review that Holt is "agin’ " the financial situation in which we find ourselves? He appears to agree with Dr. Farrell’s assessment but he leaves the situation at the gates of “The City of London” without explicitly saying that, "Oh yeah, by the way we here in the US are being run by the same “playbook” and that the system it spawned is an abomination. Sorry, but the “trust molecule” is long gone.

… but like Dennis Miller, “I could be wrong”.

Perhaps how the book came to his attention is in the line of protecting his source. Maybe someone from this website? Even JPF uses initials for those who send him information for blogging, sometimes they even request anonymity and he obliges. Retirement finally allows one the time to pursue other interests like finance and geopolitics that during one’s career obligations left none. After experiencing a career like his he had the time to do some dot connecting as well as one heck of a network. Wonder how Smedley Butler put two and two together?

This Holt guy really got into your nerves, man.

… Nope, just asking questions.

well, it surely seems so, but ok. why don’t you ask him? there are contacts there.
I’ve listened to a couple of podcasts with him, and I kinda like the guy. has a very fresh mind for sure and has a - according to my poor judgement - good, sometimes dark, sense of humour, with a lot a of knowledge and insight in various subjects.

this first video is indeed informative, but the general is bit like playing watchover role here [1] even in one moment tried to push the former green beret in different direction, kicking in the end instantly once got chance in more funny steaming down …

maybe his logo looks too cartoonish to me, plus coz hour ago was posting about JordanM [2] so he too looks like controlled opposition, if not psyop agitprop stooge!

Scarmoge also has point, and lets hope this is not bait for JPF, so later would be pulled by finger if not nose in some interviews or conventions!?, tho probably “dei” are after Doc, Our Almighty Lord Jesus Christ Forbid, altho need to say to me this applauding, and the recent Shiloh disorientation what looks emf alike greeting [3] are kind of push’pull’slips coz whatever!?, maybe I am wrong, but it dont hurts to remind Doc, dont loosen when “such” danaans gifts are shared!, altho on other hand why would worry at all?, we are all martyrs with cause once start examining “deir” skims&spins!, and hm, maybe the general is from some patriot faction in usA, tho I really cant say, coz not so insightful about his public emergence!

Doc wrote this:

‘emphased italics’ is mine. if he sees a nice one, I accept his opinion.

Video one was good.
Video two, was not.

So with this kind of query, I approached Ret. Brig. Gen Holt and told him that the very group of people who support JPF closely, including CAF, were wondering how the heck he picked up on this book and decided to review it. I did not specifically note the dialogue here, nor did I suggest that CAF had made any comment other than general tenure on Solari.com (I am a long time member -since 2010) certainly naming no one in our conversation, but I did suggest there was a possible TDS view that insisted that a general level of negativity should enter every rational discussion. I suggested that CAF carried the Whitney Webb spiritual view of the current system (one could include Simon Dixon to that general frequency) and Blaine’s answer was that he respected CAF greatly and would love to have a dialogue in response.

So in answer to why he picked up on Financial Vipers of Venice, I suggest he knows far more about JPF, follows CAF as well, and would be very interested in explaining why we all need to understand where this is all going.

Good questions all. To answer the obvious question, no he did not conact me. And yes, being a “dangerous intellectual” is a bit ambiguous and is either being complimentary, or sending messages and painting a big red target on me. And to add to your list of questions, he surely cannot be ignorant of my more recent stances against Central Bank Digital “currencies”, klepto-currencies, social credit systems, tokenization, &c… so why not mention those things in the service of thoroughness? or is he merely mentioning it in the way that some white hats do, dropping names, and hoping people go explore for themselves? So, like you, I remain ambivalent about it…

He is NOT putting a red target on you, Joseph. He is complimenting you on explaining the origin of all this insanity. I challenge you to follow him when he speaks on Rich Does Politics because Rich brings out the best in people. That is what he is about.

He would like to have the dialogue with you because I believe he has a unique perspective having been involved, like Catherine, in the very pit of vipers, that has set us all up. I believe he is still uniquely involved to be able to bring light into what seems like total darkness. He suggested to me that he was exactly positioned in the same head space but has, thanks to those who surround him, has been able to see a light that is not altogether obvious. That is why he would like a dialogue.

He did not say it HAD to be public.

I defer to Scarmoge’s biography entry. If you don’t hear him speaking now, you don’t know how far he as come. I believe that can be said about all of us.

Gen Hollt activities on social media plus all the people behind Promethean Action give me eerie feeling of some kind of offshoot of QAnon psych-op, just not as wild.

… Post from another thread where Holt is discussed (Sticking with Rich Does Politics)

… will Holt provide access to the training and weapons needed in order to do more than simply be talking on the PkU (Podkast Ultra Circuit)? Bill, I promise I’m working on a better term, although this one may turn out to be pretty good. The vast majority of these so-called podcasts are simply a meat puppet version of AI Training. … and the great thing for them is that we pay for the training with our time and in some cases our money. The ability to do podcasting would have been Donald Ewen Cameron’s ultimate wet dream. Think about the scaled up possibilities of podcasting for the Psychic Drivers among us.

The AI folks are calling for more human interaction videos to assist AI’s data bases to assess humans.
Maybe we all should remain “in the dark”…no need to enlighten AI. They’ll know our names and what we think, ammunition for the enemy?

… interestingly … there are many ads for discipline specific AI trainers … possibly looking for insights into how certain disciplines think?

There is not enough information to know what Brigadier General Holt’s motivations may or may not have been. It’s important to keep our eyes open.

The other possibility is it has nothing to do with Joseph.

We can see from the recent headlines that the privately owned federal reserve bank
Has refused to move interest rates even though the American economy needs it.

There is a power struggle going on in the highest levels of power.

What if the good Brigadier General’s motivation was to send a shot across the bow
Of those opposed to American re-industrialization? What if it’s the opposite. In other words this may or may not have anything to do with Joseph.
