Sorry for my ramble, but my current working hypothesis of “the universe” is that God’s focal point of created things was mankind, who was made for His own purpose and strategy to possess, at least partially, a physical material existence. Perhaps “the universe” was created as a celebration of His chosen, and made in His image, creature coming into existence? But in our current universe is there a kind of entropy and or “headed for destruction” narrative set in play? Was the rebellion of angels, or of man more responsible for this? One more thing, it appears from the Bible that Satan was given a measure of control or “ownership” of the world, at least temporarily. If true, might this have been granted because of the angelic rebellion, or did it require man’s rebellion? I’m favoring the latter. Would this granted but limited measure of “control”, Deistic in nature or not, extend to what we call the vast universe?

I believe Dr Farrell mentioned the “filaments” recently. It’s those structures that “look” like filaments when vast groupings of galaxies coalesce to form them. So maybe the idea is that the filaments, (possibly analogous to the structure of the human brain) have a decipherable message for us?
