Massive Data Centers Costing You

I saw this video and thought the topics covered “Skimming”, “Shimming” and finally the proliferation of Data Centers with the attendant electric bill cost hikes (starting @22 minute mark) might be informative to Gizzer’s. Also note the discounted rates being offered to the Data Centers themselves. Towards the end he provides a map of centers currently in the US. 603 in the state of Virginia! Interestingly, I noted relatively few around the New York City metropolitan area.

This was excellent as well.

Why are 80% of China’s Data Centers dormant for example?

Good question. May be Chinese know something we don’t know, or it is hidden form the public on purpose.

And don’t they already have their citizens pretty well surveilled? So it could be that they have enough for that purpose. On the other hand you could argue that the “American Equivalent” citizen has so many more freedoms and so that much harder to “rustle up”.

Or maybe those facilities could be used for other purposes entirely.

One thing I don’t hear discussed nearly as much in relation to data centers is quantum computing but it almost certainly plays a role

Maybe China has conceded the Data Centers race.

This makes me think that China realises that the future is Quantum Computing, and we in USA are supposed to be at the forefront of that too, so the Chinese are skipping the data centre trap/ waste of resources and focussing on that?
Hitting to the realms of magick now!

Something being drowned out about “surveillance centers” is they will be used to track and trace things and people. The emphasis for talking points in discussions is water and power usage, whether they’ll use quantum computing, chip design etc. none of that matters in the long run compared to their usage for tracking and tracing everything we do.
