On India rejecting BRICS
Ohh No Gold bugs. Looks like somebody pulled the Rug. The Euro was supposed to rival the US Dollar. The BRICS proposed the exact same gold backed/pegged version for BRICS nation.
The ol’ classic bait and switch. Nobody learned from the Gold-back Euro-Florin in the 1970s in an effort to defeat the dollar. When history wants to repeat, it does it with gusto.
1978: “…the Europeans hope to build a new global monetary order…”
2025: “Euro has ‘clear path’ towards greater reserve currency use, says Eurogroup president.”
