Hydrogen can be good, toyota engines run for a long time maybe even forever.
It can take a lot of energy to produce hydrogen, so this is more of a battery than an energy source itself unless they find hydrogen in the ground like oil or other burnable fuels.
Has anyone here done a lot of work on 22r engines?
Have one that is having some difficulty starting is about forty years old plan to take this apart and see if I can make some repairs.
Has a new rebuilt carburetor and leak in air intake manifold repaired, may be some other problems maybe new different kind of carburetor would help but may be something else causing problem with starting. Once it does start it runs fine. Has a new starter, it isn’t problem with electric start, just takes awhile for engine to fire and hold steady rpm.
Several years ago Japan and Russia were to collaborate on capturing hydrogen which was escaping naturally from the soil in parts of Russia. Japan was to contribute the technology of storing hydrogen as they had already been working on storage cells for hydrogen for several years. I have no idea where this initiative is today or if it was even started.
Hydridic Earth: the New Geology of Our Primordially Hydrogen-rich Planet
by Vladimir N. Larin
Publication date 1993
Topics Geology, hydrogen, hydrides, cosmochemistry

Language English
Polar publishing, ISBN 0-9694506-2-1
Editor on translation C. Warren Hunt. 242 pages.
Starting with first principles, Larin shows that ionization potentials are the only feasible explanation for the distribution of elements and mass in the solar system and that the Earth must have accreted without melting, its core at first being a hydrogen-saturated mixture of elements of the “intermetal” type. Intermetals, which the author has created and studied in the laboratory, are metals that have been phase-changed by injection of “proton gas” [H nuclei] within their electron orbits…"

Maybe, but corporations such as Nestle, OWN, lots of groundwater to produce their nefarious pseudo food.
You would first have to wrestle from nestle and other owners, of the water rights. And if that were possible, then you would have to stop the geo engineers from their favorite weather producing pastime, since they can make droughts and floods on a whim, for the highest bidder.
Freshwater isn’t the only source.
Interesting video about water engine, hadn’t heard about that.
I know there is hydrogen in water of course but had heard to separate the hydrogen from oxygen took about the same amount of energy as a hydrogen engine would generate, but if they’ve found a way to run an engine off of just a tank of water that’s impressive!
@Bahri
The progress made, like all other tech, has been hidden from us. What is said about the equation might or might not be true. Personally, I think they’ve found a way to do it, just like Nazi Bell has been worked for 80 years & the tech now probably quite advanced. Just sayin’.
Some news, my country district school district is investing in some hydrogen powered school busses, for the children!
I hope so too, don’t know about the chances.
About that 22R, it should have gas squirting from the accelerator pump nozles when you look down the carb with the choke open and the engine no running. Just manually turn the throttle and look. If it has a hard time even with fuel or starting fluid primers, then I would look at camshaft timing. A compression test would give a clue. Lastly check the ignition timing to make sure it is where it should be and the distributor may need some lube or a rebuild.
I once bought a DIY kit of ebay to generate hydrogen from water to supplement the gas engine for better mileage. I was a simple electronic device you had to solder together and it was the rage on youtube, but it barely put off any hydrogen and ebay tried to have him refund everyone that bought one. There were a number of people that converted their cars to water power through hydrogen and naively thought Washington DC would support them if they showed up and proved it to congress. Those people died shortly after announcing to the press or disappeared soon after.
Dangerous business, bypassing the cartels.
Thanks, will see about checking camshaft timing and compression test. Replaced the distributor a few years ago. Seems to run a little better on higher octane fuel and with seafoam.
That is too bad about people who vanished after they went to congress with water engines, wow.
