Tree gone saturday vidchat on

UPDATE: Folks we ARE on for the vidchat tomorrow, Saturday, July 29 at 2PM. As usual and barring unforeseen technical problems I’ll be in there EARLY for our usual prechat conversation. I am a bit sad at losing the beautiful big tree out front…the poor old tree …I’m reminded of that quotation by Robert Louis Stevenson: “It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men’s hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air, that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.” It certainly was that kind of tree with that kind of quality.

Hell - I’m not even “there”, and I already miss the old big tree.
I gone through my share of trees that were there, and gone before their time.

In fact, anything in the living data set; is a future-perfect suspect.
