As most of us know, Israel and the Jewish lobby are important to America.
As I understand it from my late father, Israel was created by the USA and the Brits (there were others) as a forward operating base for the Middle East. Lots of special forces OPS and the like. An unsinkable aircraft carrier. An important outpost. But why?
Long ago, a US ARMY three-star general once told me that “the Middle East is not a war to be won, but an Aladdin’s Cave of cosmic treasures to protect.”
