This has the smell of a distraction ploy… but I’m excited to see what comes of it.

Trump hands the pen to his assistant and says “give that to RFK jr”

Wasn’t this tried before during his first term?

If Trump, RFK junior, or anyone else wants to see those files, they will have to commandeer them. Asking only produces more ink.

As in many versions.

Which version did you get?

This will be interesting. I bet Lyndon Johnson was the mole that made the assassination possible.

This will hurt the spooks question is to what extent he wants to damage them. He can either have them entirely eaten by the tech bros, or just weaken them a bit.

He probably can’t damage Mossad too much, they are still useful but with major modifications to their role in the middle east.

Wait and see

CIA employees see it as a badge of honor to stop release of any information that if released could endanger an employer due to the association.

So see how Trump terminated the security details of some and justified this as - you don’t get security your whole life because you worked for the government.

He is breaking the secrecy of identity contract across multiple actions targeted at the deep state.

Thus the declassification action could involve the name of an employee in a barely relevant document.

The release could be a disappointment.

My intuition on the JFK assassination is that CIA contractors acted ultra vires to take out the person investigating their criminal activities and interfering with their business model.

It remains to be seen how much official involvement was operational.

As for official culpability, the FISA of the first Trump administration seems to be fully orchestrated by our Government. That was a disgrace.

As disgraces add up, the public will support reform and funding cuts.

Do the documents even exist?

On Lee Oswald they most likely still exist. He was an intel asset and was taken out by the Cuban mob before he could talk. Cuban mafia is also a CIA asset.

There is enough there to pull the thread very far.

Yes and Pompeiio (sp?) talked him out of it.

… not out loud in public.

… I’ll brave another prediction … there will be NO-thing of any consequence if we are actually able to see them … OR … we will see Stanton F. what Stan used to show at his talks … sheet after sheet with a readable Date at the top followed by lines and lines and lines of black redactions.

This situation does put Trump in a slight bind. If the documents are released and there is nothing of consequence there, then he has to answer for what he “allegedly” said to Andrew Napolitano. Trump has to either deny saying anything along those lines to Napolitano or he has to say that Napolitano “misunderstood” him.

but … Hope springs eternal.- from an Essay on Man, a poem by Alexander Pope

or if you prefer Latin … Dum spiro spero.
