Thank you for posting this video! It confirms what I thought might be at least in part that Carlson is utter “Christian trash”. His discussion on God was sooo sincere, with an F bomb in pretty much every sentence, but oh, “I’m a Christian”. It makes the scoffing of Christianity by those who don’t believe a very understandable position. While it is true that people are far from perfect, even the biggest internet phony Christian evangelists know better than to present themselves in such a way. No doubt Carlson’s profanity-lace display would make true Christians who’ve devoted their lives to others want to vomit in their mouth.
They are both recovering from various addictions, a “higher power” is a requisite to “beat the beasts” and chase them away. Shawn used psychedelics a couple of years ago to combat alcohol. Notice the fully stocked bar in the set background, both are ex drinkers. A test of wills?
And I heard a podcast with Tucker where he mentioned the use of nicotine patches (as he was a cigarette smoker, Camel unfiltered, like his father smoked) though he quit a long time ago.
