@uintatom I know Carlson touched some off-limits topics when he was working for Fox, and I don’t diminish how important that was. But I share your suspicions. There’s something about these sudden associations with Twitter and Spotify – both of which are very big, mainstream, and not uncensored – that makes me wonder if Carlson’s firing from Fox is really what it appears to be.
Could Carlson have been fired so he could be deliberately placed on “independent” platforms? The purpose might be to get his audience (people who’d tend to be suspicious of the mainstream and unhappy about censorship) to warm to Twitter and Spotify. That would be a great way to rehabilitate Twitter’s image, which I think was the purpose of having Musk buy it. I think all the wrangling over Musk buying Twitter was mostly theater.

Yeah that’s all my impression as well.
The people in control of what gets disseminated through the MSM understand when certain truths are out of the bag so to speak and I believe they will control that narrative as well.
