Rep. Massie’s take and insider info of Congressional shenanigans is insightful and sometimes weirdly funny. His anecdotes about building and living in his off grid homestead is amazing. Having a MIT degree in electrical engineering pays off in more ways than one….
Thomas Massie is an extraordinary renaissance man.
Here is a link to the extended story of how he ended up back in Kentucky and the mix of the new and old technologies he used to build his dream.
@Bill10558 that was great. What a man that Rep Massie is. Loved it. He is such a breath of fresh air especially in politics.
I could relate a little bit with him when his wife would call him with house problems because I do the same with my husband “hon, the well pump is making a weird noise, the generator won’t start, I smell septic we need it pumped out, I hear water hammer in the pipes, etc…
@nperpetuity thanks for sharing this video, I really enjoyed it. I’m scratching my head asking myself what the heck is this man doing in politics LOL. He’s a rare breed.
Massie is exactly the kind of man we need in Congress.
The best and brightest need to be running Our Country, and not dim wits or big mouths.
The best and brightest as of right now need to be teaching the kids, from K1/ Grade One.
I think what Massie had to say about every Republican having an ‘Israeli babysitter’ (AIPAC) should be paid close attention.
Yeah, they all have something in their background that forces them unable to accept a controller, otherwise their “life they’ve grown to expect” would end and they would have to be satisfied with a normal regular life.
Thomas Massie’s wife passed away yesterday😢
So sad Universe dealt this to him/them. Such good people deserve all the earth has to offer.
What a tragedy for them to have to part ways.
