Doesn’t hurt to try VPNs, though they’ve been around long enough for governments to counteract.
The onion routing tools like the ToR network might also work to counteract the censorship.

If the obvious “network hacks for normies” are all locked down, then one could familiarize themselves with a thing called SSH (secure shell). Particularly the feature for reverse tunneling would be what I’d look into. Also explicit proxy servers like Squid or HAProxy setup on a VPS that’s between you and YT might also work.
