Slaves( not “slavs”) are always useful in a wartime( excuse me, special-military-actiontime) economy.
The army w/the most cannon fodder wins?
N. Korea’s population problem sees bright future?
Now China can test some of her new weapons; as well as her training capabilities.
Maybe have a couple of N. Korean aces.
It would be a good sales pitch for Chinese fighter jets?[training included]
Maybe N. Korea can also extend her territory while scoring victories?
Poland’s borders may need some trimming and N. Korean filling?
The N. Koreans can build their own homes & businesses in The Ukraine? Poland?
The N. Koreans need to send the Biden’s a big thank-you card. [didn’t know you cared]
N. Korea could use Genghis Khan as a tried and true role model?
The European Union could have some truly original new leaders w/in their territories?
Never can tell what may happen when those war dice are rolled.
Why not? Ol’ Fatso won’t blink an eye over 100K.
At least they won’t starve like in Heimat-Nordkorea. Maybe they can even graduate to join Wagnergruppen Spitzeinsatz!
I don’t know about the North Koreans, but I DO know about the Wagner Group. They are recruiting Russian prisoners (some of the worst). In an interview with Scott Ritter and a group of people talking about violence in our country, he pointed out that he was the only one in the group who was a trained killer- marine from a military family. He explained that when you are trained to think this way, it takes a lot to untrain yourself from the quick reactions to defend yourself violently. In light of that conversation, I found this recruitment video a fascinating study in real war.
@WuWu I was writing this comment while you posted yours. Thinking along the same lines!
Here come “The Dirty Dozen”. Wonder if they will show this movie film to the recruits during training?
A sad line item in all largescale wars; time & money enough to train instincts razorsharp in the art of murderdeathkill, but no time at all afterwards for the warrior who wishes to move on and live a decent life.
What might the full Martial Arts once have been, say, — 60,000 years ago?
When I was younger during the Viet Nam war era and had a draft card, I knew I wanted nothing to do with killing people. Luckily my number was never called, but knew I would not report. The anti-war propaganda was in full swing, but my mind was already made up long before the war. When I was about five years old and saw an army recruiting window display of miniature plastic soldiers and equipment I remembered my elders discussing their friends and family killed in WWII and the Korean War.
Statistics taken after WWII et.al. apparently show that many soldiers( both sides) intentionally aimed( their bullets) away from enemy troops. Must be yet another reason wars are so incredibly expensive( for the rest of us) .
