You’re welcome!
(Origins of Freddie Mercury’s amazing voice…)
Wow, I didn’t even realize that was Mercury’s voice because I was so intrigued with the dancing.
Brilliant! Thanks for posting.
Freddie originally was an Iranian muslim. i liked him a lot, full of power like a dancing peacock.
@Sal2lee It’s not Freddie’s voice but, his background emulated The Caucasus, as he was born and lived his very early years near there. His family was Zoroastrian; I had an Indian friend, also Zoroastrian, who knew a few of his relatives.
Don’t know if you remember those old yogurt commercials of the men who live well into 100 yrs. of age. I met one here in U.S. who was almost 70 and considered himself middle-aged and could out dance any young man on the floor.
Here’s a song with old films of The Caucasus and Peoples.
Very interesting @thebeaver . I just did some reading on the culture and I wonder why they use the word Caucasian to describe your race/ethnicity on a census form, etc.
They changed Caucasian to White on applications…
The minimum categories for data on race and ethnicity for Federal statistics, program administrative reporting, and civil rights compliance reporting are defined by OMB as follows:
- American Indian or Alaska Native. …
- Asian. …
- Black or African American. …
- Hispanic or Latino. …
- Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander. …
- White.
Thanks again for sharing.
Edit…I don’t remember the yogurt commercials. Maybe I should try to find one to jog the memory LOL
Edit…Found a commercial but I don’t remember it.
@Sal2lee That’s the commercial alright but, I guarantee they aren’t eating yogurt made by Dannon.
Thanks so much!! Truly amazing & made me think of Zorba The Greek!!
