University of Michigan faculty admit they are no longer competent to grade incoming Freshmen ... HAHAHAHAHAHA!

… so in addition to being unable to grade they also can no longer tell the difference between a 65 and a 100. It’s all good … 65 is a P and all the way up to 100 is a P. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!

Man, I would love to be able to teach without grading.

Longing for the good ol’ days when you had to be able to read and write in order to go to College or University.

That’s OK. They don’t want anyone to know that AI didn’t cut the mustard.

… Hey, I didn’t think about that. You’re right. That means they are also incompetent to grade AI output. Awesome!

Oh for crying out loud, now I’ve seen it all… hopefully I’ll be able to finish the blogs tomorrow in spite of the ongoing problems with my little Shiloh… I have a story that’s just too much to be believed…

“During a meeting earlier in the year
at the University of Michigan’s marketing department, to address slumping applications for admissions, the committee collaborated and agreed that advertising ‘no grades issued for entering first semester students’ would be an appropriate solution. The idea being, once enrolled, they would remain until matriculation. Adding the mental health aspect added additional cache to reduce the anxiety of the children’s trauma of being removed from their home environment snd Michigan’s brutal winters. The committee then adjourned for cocktails and finger food.”

… the craziest thing in all of this is that they could not even bring themselves to use F as in the word “Fail”. They could not even bring themselves to use or represent the word “Fail”. Instead they had to use NC as in No Credit. Actually I can’t believe they will use or represent the word “No”. These poor children. They have never been told 'No" so they have never heard the word “No”.
