A 500% increase in the “Space Force” membership plus the auxiliary supplies and support for them seems awfully like an extension of the military industrial complex’s need for a faux enemy to continue the war economy business model.

Exactly, @chris, EXACTLY! The average people that you routinely interact with all day long, every day, have absolutely no clue whatsoever that any of this is even going on. And, God-forbid, try to break the ice about this, or topics like this, and they look at you like you’re from another planet (no pun intended!)! I fully empathize with your frustration because I feel the same. We hear all of this talk on podcasts that “people are waking up”, but I just don’t see it. I’d love to know where these “people” are because I sure haven’t encountered them!

I think in some generic sense, a lot of people are ‘awakening’ in regards to the importance of nature, and God, or at least spirituality and a recognition of the soul, and compassion. People do seem to be less radical, you just hear about the extreme 10% on both sides.
What is lacking is courage, and the silent majority needs to stop being silent.
