Not apprised that DEFCON, nor DefConEurooe/NATO has changed.
Thanks for that info. The reason I put this video up is because Wheelbarger was the guy that led the clean-up of The Pentagon the night of 911 & he has pretty good intel on what U.S. is doing. Personally, I don’t like the guy, but I do listen to what he says.
This might not affect Defcon anyway, maybe because it does not directly concern US, IDK?
I thought DEFCON was never made public? Watching with interest. I am surprised to hear B52’s still operating with USAF. I know a couple came over to the UK about a year ago which was odd. Normally for air shows but this was a military flight.

That’s what I thought too, or at least, it used to be that way.
I’ve been watching him show the survellace flights and troops mounting for almost a year now. Has the Forte flights & others. Very interesting.

Wheelbarger just confirmed that DEFCON is a variable at different locations & isn’t a factor, plus, it’s classified.

I have no frame of reference for what is “normal” in terms of aircraft in flight. Guess we have to go with the expert opinion here. That being said, if this is 3x the normal activity they must have active intelligence suggesting some kind of threat. Just seems very 1960’s and call me cynical but why would Russia risk full on nuclear escalation when it has so many other cards yet to play?
It is unlikely that either party would actually employ, say, a 10G nuclear bomb. However, a dirty bomb would indeed get a public( populistic) response( = reaction).

BTW, there are now several AWACS operating in the overall area, as well as paratrooper/HAHO-planes. They’ve been there for some time now.
AND, there are also ““doomsday”” planes in the air, at loccation, at the ready for CINC.
Makes you wonder why the movement of financial infrastructure out of NYC a while back.

@ShadowNet Who’s to say Russia is actually doing anything, other than removing fuel, etc from the nuke plant No doubt pisses off some factions. Conversely, Russia has let this linger on for waaay too long and might decide to take as much Ukrainian property in one swoop as possible. My point being, NOBODY knows the truth.
@WuWu After 911, who could possibly believe any of those protective aircraft is worth a hoot? I sure don’t. Russia might actually be removing nuke fuel to prevent it from being used as dirty bomb material. IDK.

Depends on how far you go down the Putin 5D chess model you are prepared to go. If it’s some kind of collusion with Mr Global I can see why the optics of an impending nuclear conflict would help to scare the hell out of everyone and justify increased money pumping to Ukraine.

The RF( Russian Federation) , IMHO, is not interested in more fuel for “dirtydirtydirty!”-Bombs, as they would alreadt have more than enough. The RF is a big place, and far better employed than, say, Canada.
And, yes, the AWACS and “Presidential” planes are, these daya, mostly for Show, but they do convey an Intent to “the enemy”.
We( us, the free) stilll have “stuff” in the skies that…
@WuWu I did not say that. It’s more likely to be taken by Russian troops to prevent others from making dirty bombs. Even so, you think Russians would just toss them & not use them? ROFL! If you want to believe in planes, be my guest.
@ShadowNet I still think this is one big gang fight. Even though they all might be globalist, each “family” is going to grab as much territory as possible while they can. It’s pretty much a historical fact that the worst, hardest fighting occurs toward the end of a war. Not saying it will end tomorrow, but COULD BE getting close to drawing lines here. IDK. As I said, it’s speculation.
