I’m not sure the U.S. has succeeded yet, but forcing Europe to buy natural gas from the U.S. by eliminating Russian competition is, in my opinion, one of the main goals of the Ukraine debacle.

The value of natgas in the US has exploded- esp. compared to what it has been in the EU. Drillers are providing more oil and gas to US than is being reported.

Newfound oil and gas field in the Northen Sea, so it’s British to be exact. Also, this strengthens MED countries like Spain, and Italy who are energy independent thru oil pipes from Africa.
