“We’re finally on our own w/o power brokers”!
[What you mean “we” kemosabe?]

Really?
[The narrator certainly believes it.]

Difficult to deal with the feeling that you live on a test planet. A place where everything is a short run. If perfected, if worthy, but only when, it can be transported to a more perfect version of a world, a shift or two dimensions up. Pretty simple to consider when we see these crafts dropping their experiments into our seas, releasing aerosols their patterns in vapor trails etc suspicious and confirming encounters with folks from somewhere else, who feel foreign and admittedly seem to be taking responsibility for their fate, sent here as punishment, on planet purgatory where you are born dead, indebted, by generations, a living sentence a convicted spirit not rising. One’s imagination can travel to a utopian version of our home, but if your gonna dream….do you go for the serenity of nothingness or the feverish explosion of fire that is our universe? No need to travel far nor wide, only deep, deep into the fabric to the next one, the next thread in the lattice, instantly transported to the place you left only a different, timeline, different dimensional thread. Similar but not home. Each one a version, ours a diminished battleground of a place worn and torn. Whatever was being worked out here, developed here, I hope it all worked out on some version of this place. It took its toll on us.
