Folks, I am having Vimeo platform problems and hence am not able to gain access to our account to do today’s vidchat. I have emailed Daniel but not heard back from him…so it looks like we are going to have to reschedule today’s vidchat. I AM TERRIBLY sorry about this… it happened late last night AFTER I had set everything else up for the chat. I appreciate everyone’s patience.

It’s very discouraging… it’s been one technical thing after another this year, all because the old computer quit working and the new one does not work properly… not to mention all the other hoops and obstacles they put up in the name of “security”…

Try not to let it get to you Doc. Perhaps you can knock out a session on Bruno while you’re waiting and “chew” on a Ghurka?

Too true… I usually DO end up taking my frustrations out on Bruno… usually something like the G Minor Fantasia (BWV 542) does the trick for me…lol (check out the Felix Hell version on youtube if you don’t know the work). I worry because incidents like this, plus the endless rescheduling due to our abominable weather and the inability of the weather service to come up with decent predictions have not helped us.

I have wondered if there are increased efforts to undermine contexts supporting coherence, spiritual and cultural. I believe I am noticing this in Indian Country.

Constantly having to make adjustments to this & that.
My typing is atrocious, not to mention spelling.
One wrong keystroke; ends up costing a galactic scale of time to fix.
You never know when you’ll b stepping into a DIGITAL BEAR TRAP!

So sorry to hear that, Joseph… I wonder, many times, if some specific contents just trigger “retaliations”, but that surely might be my imagination/paranoia… Hope it does get fixed soon !

I have been ‘enjoying’ trying to get my windows 11 to do some simple things like preview pdfs. it doesnt want you to be ‘unsafe’ so it manually requires you to unblock each file to be viewed. or run a batch command in the prompt or winshell but you shouldnt have to jump through hoops to do simple tasks.
its always in the NAME OF SECURITY

It is getting to be ABSURD. If they keep it up, people will soon abandon the whole thing as being too much effort for too little reward, and go back to typewriters, letters, phones on the wall, and newspapers. And frankly, I don’t think that would be a bad thing. I am absolutely FED UP with all this mess.

Doc, I know Daniel is working on it but if you have any personal PC issues you want to post here I am sure we wouldn’t mind giving a crack at it.
I sometimes have more fun getting stuff to work than actually using it . lol
Itr is not something that I can easily explain nor would I wish to give out private account details here on the forum, as we have many trolls here.
