I suspect that they wouldn’t want to keep me alive forever. I wouldn’t want to be “living” via the means suggested in this article anyway. Evil stuff.

I did. They seem to be rolling out the means to allow the insane technocrats to live forever and to make it seem like “normal” people aren’t actually dead, when they are just being replaced by AI facsimiles. I’m not saying they are going to force us all to live forever or anything like that. They certainly wouldn’t want people who don’t follow their narrative to have access to life extension of any kind. I would hardly call living in the cloud or in an android body life extension though.

I tend to think the person interviewed assumed based on certain bias how this would be done; note article is 2018, so, lots has changed. Some form of this is definitely the goal though.
