We Are Not Inclusive

The word Latin American takes a lot of identity out of us. We are not Latin Americans. Latino comes from Lazio. We are Hispanic America because it was Spain that brings us Lazio, Hellenic thought and Christianity.

The civilizational structure that brings all the western world is Spain. For them to achieve that development, they had to go through a lot of centuries, pre- Roman, Roman, medieval, etc. Then they became a solid civilization. Spain brought all of that on one stroke. The people that lived in the New World jumped from the Neolithic to the Baroque. From stone weapons to metallurgy, coinage of money, art, commerce, etc.

The United States exist because of Spain not George Washington. They got their independence because Spain financed and paid for every bullet, musket, ration, cannon, horse, and uniform of that war. Bernardo de Gálvez fought the British at the red cliffs, with troops from San Juan Bautista and ships from Cuba by the way. Americans wouldn’t even exist. How many north Americans knows that The United States is called that, because Luis de Uzaga gave it that name. All the States and territorial divisions were created by Spain.

For those reasons, we are not Latinos. WE ARE HISPANIC! People are committing elder abuse when the word is used. People use Latino because they don’t read and don’t know the origin of that word which was French. We know the geopolitical game behind the word “Latino” many people don’t know but we do. Notice that the word “Latino” is not used for those French people living in Quebec. Any Italian or French living in South America is Hispanic period. We are not inclusive these are Hispanic American lands.
