Besides a few token weapons for display, the soldiers drafted will have to fight with broomsticks. Madam Broomstick (Ursula von der Leyen) aready years ago told German soldiers to train with broomsticks when they muttered they did not have enough real weapons to train with. What Missie Broomstick is good at is creating slush funds to plunder for herself and inner circle. Mr. Trump is just taking it for himself and or who he is working for. The best our soldiers can hope for is a broomstick with moustache man’s runes of WW2 on it.

Sometimes I am so tired too and almost think the same. Nevertheless, for me Mr. Amstrong is a poor man’s CAF and computers that predict thru models, well I’ll refrain from stating my feelings on that. It would not pass the etiquette jammers. I however do fear european leaders are so far gone that Russia might demonstrate with one Oreshnik missile strike its might to the delusional totally bonkers EU twats. Then the question becomes, Paris, London, Rome, Brussels, Berlin???
When I see and read cautionary tales and doomsday scenarios my sense of humor usually saves the day. 
one never bites the hand that feeds them. In this case greed and self-preservation is mighty strong. If the world was destroyed and only a few were left it’d be a pretty lonely and boring world.

To answer your question from the title: they don’t have a choice. Big brother America is forcing them to by mostly USA made weapons in exchange for peace and deals with China. But unlike the 30ties of the last century, they will have a problem with finding another madman and suitable ideology.
Wonder what “they” have in-store; for the “safe” underground bases?
ALL sides have countermeasures, no doubt; as thery’ve been targeted too.

The ONLY real reservation as to this plan working would be the likelihood of any instant intervention from our “cousins” or anyone above THEIR tier…Up to and including any major deities and/or ridiculously enormous, cosmic and hyper-intelligent plasma clouds that, for whatever reason, have a vested (or anything beyond casual) interest in either our continued survival or just plain wouldn’t want to have to clean up the farm to plant the next batch.
That all being said… If this author was put in the room with that “button”, and TWO of them being pressed/turned at the same time wasn’t a prerequisite…ONLY God could help us.

Man, that’s a can of worms right there, and I’m too busy killing rats to go on a fishing trip right at this moment (much as I’d like to do so), but…
Believing in a higher power and the idea that life as we all know it may be a simulation don’t have to be mutually exclusive concepts. There are many thousands of credible people from all walks of life that have reported NDE’s (Near Death Experiences) most of which have very common themes. Most of these share common elements such as being told that we are here attending a “school” of sorts by our own choice and , allegedly, even have a hand in advance at choosing how much suffering we might endure over our lifetime. Upon “dying” these people make very similar comments about how much more “real” the experience feels while on the other side compared to life here, as we know it…Colors that are indescribably more vibrant, music unlike anything they’ve heard before, etc. Suffering in various forms seems to be part of the deal. Not all important, but certainly a main component.
Incidentally, I’ve often felt as if I’ve had powerful emotional investments in small parts of good films or books. Don’t get me started on the realism and sense of loss at the fading end of a semi-lucid dream. It’s not that much of a stretch to imagine what could be done with the kind of “processing power” that God might have… “knowing the number of hairs on your head, every blade of grass”
Robert Monroe’s work? It could be…One of the many possibilities. We ARE being farmed though. In the Cosmic War hypothesis the water planet Tiamat was destroyed along with part of Mars, etc. Resulting from this, the losing side (us) were confined to this planet. There are theories of the Moon being a soul recycling farm itself. So many possibilities depending on one’s belief system.
At any rate, I’m dead on my feet and probably stop making sense a while ago. Would like to say that if you’re not a full member, and haven’t read JPF’s books, that this subject is covered in depth in the chats. There was one member a few years back that was able to use an existing program to calculate the mass of the debris, gases, etc at the asteroid belt and all but proved that a planet of Tiamat’s size had existed there. In fact, in that explosion the side of Mars that had been facing Tiamat had it’s surface more-or-less blasted away.

I don’t pretend to know a lot about it, but consider there may be an element of industrial preservation in these purchases. USA commonly awards contracts for example in what seems a rotating fashion to one of 3 remaining combat aircraft manufacturers. While the particulars of one jet design may be superior to another, the Pentagon has admitted they purposefully award contracts to keep defense design/production capacity alive.
Normally I would not contest that, but today I don’t think they have much energy and raw materials to try and uphold it. Our predator class is so far gone that when they yell “and so it will be” it will magically appear. From their standpoint it has magically appeared for decades! Reality is here and hubris will be their undoing…
