I was just in Zermatt (7/2025) and I asked about the deep mountain tunnel for UBS Warburg Bank, the folks there said everyone in town knew about the old Nazi treasure troves there. At the Mount Cervin Hotel, the manager gladly showed me the basement private door to the connecting UBS Bank. A few bar drinks and some flattery go a long way.
“Only kings, queens, powerful CEOs and select heads of state are allowed to use this private entrance and the connecting one in the bank across the street.” The manager said.
“Oh? Nothing suspicious about that!” I replied as we laughed.
