In order that the elastic band can snap back, people need to be able to read! Maybe after EMP wars with prolonged absense of AI and serious addiction withdrawal. And on conditions a few have preserved western culture.

Isn’t the need for remedial studies in reading comprehension for college students an indictment of the failure of the educational system at the K-12 level? Maybe ditch the craze for an iPad for every student to prove a school district is “embracing the technological era” and substitute #2 lead pencils, erasers and a red Big Chief wide lined paper tablet.
