Living in a country right next door to the Netherlands and the Dutch must really be p*ssed! I think that CAF is onto something with the betrail thingy and the population not taking it well. The trust between government and the people was a good one and now very damaged.
A good thing too, because this is a litmus test to come for the whole of Europe, this landgrab. As the Doc often says, two can play the game and the Dutch certainly are going for it! The question will be will if the government is willing to unleash something far worse then the Romeo’s!
Until politicians hang from trees with regular citizens getting control back, it’s nothing but people trying to have some say in how much they are oppressed. Like slaves offering to work harder if they can get a bit more cornbread with lunch.
It’s a good start I guess, but protests of any kind require those in charge to actually care about (or at least fear) the protesters.

I think it good that people expres their “endowed God’s given right of free will” insted of being in awe of a mecanized world. Why would God dwell in a world full of mechanized drones that not even recognises or wants Him?
As Joseph oft suggests, we are operating on half of the book of life with our current elites. I also want to see justice done but not solely out of spite because it won’t solve anything. In the end, humanity has to become whole again if we want to avoid total destruction via nihilism.
Yes, expect that fight to be fierce and not over in a few months. Our elites work solely with and off fear but let us “non-elites” not do the same!
It is true that The Hague is a fairly pretentious city maybe if the center of Dutch Govenment was moved to under the floodplain that would help to humble some politicians.
The Hague = barely above floodplain! They could get their feet wet oh about up to 2,5 meters what happened in 1916.
I admire the hell out of The Dutch & wish we could get it together & do the same!
Well I was talking about the part of the city on top of the dike by the coast. They are aggresive about deporting people who don’t pay taxes.
