A simple question but one with much meaning. It is asked to see if one person can make some sort of connection to another. Or, as I like to put it, can two birds of a feather flock together? Well maybe, but first you have to find out which flock one belongs too. Such positive connections can lead anywhere from new friendships to new business dealings to name only two. Negative ones can lead to avoidance of future problems by steering clear of individuals and “flocks” with bad reputations. So, does this make us judgemental of others? Yes it does, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the not so good. As noted in the article this was handed down from the clan/ family structures of the Celts. The hidden question here in my opinion is, are you trustworthy? It was not uncommon for individuals of a common clan to play both sides of a disagreement/conflict/war, one of the few things the movie Braveheart got right. The paternal clan of my family was known for this by joining conflicts as mercenaries on the surface and behind the scenes working towards long term goals as Freemasons. They were renowned for their fierceness in battle. Does this mean all clan members were aware of this duplicity. Absolutely not. That’s why so many emigrated to places such as Canada. Little did they know the Freemasons were here ahead of them. Does this sound familiar in light of today’s world? It should.
A history of Clan Cameron…how accurate is this? Was this history written by the victors? I have no idea on either question.
